The McPherson County Democratic Central
Committee is made up of elected representatives
from each township and city in the county.  Each
voting precinct elects a committeeman and
committeewoman every two years in the
Democratic Primary.  Every two years those
committee persons meet to elect the officers.  This
year marked a change in leadership for the county
party.  Ryon Carey of Lindsborg was elected
chairman, Susan Buffington of Marquette was
elected Vice-chairman, Ellen Neufeld of Inman was
re-elected as Secretary and Jayne Norlin of
Lindsborg was elected treasurer.

The officers are excited about the many changes
that are coming in the future and look forward to
reaching out to the community.  

There are several opportunities to help re-build the
McPherson County Democrats and there are several
precinct committee person positions available for
interested persons to fill.  Please see the Precinct

committee members and for those positions that are
in need of filling.  For more information about being
